Think January is my least favourite even tho it allows sowing of the usuals....It can be soo cold and its still dark..........

Favourite is any month with at least 2 days of sunshine...............
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

I like every month 'cos they're all different. Without the cold, we wouldn't appreciate the heat, without the wet, how would we love the dry? I love winter snow, rain, fog, frost, summer heat haze, long summer nights, windy days, calm days, autumn mist, twilight...

I would hate to live near the equator, with no seasons, and where it got dark at the same time every single night and the weather was the same day after day.

I do love the different seasons but always find January difficult to get through. A bit of sunshine makes all the difference in any month. I love May as everything is growing fast and is a fresh green. Carol Klein's favourite word "burgeoning" springs to mind.

I take great exception to this Sara Coleridge! November is anything but dull. Turneresque skylines and misty mellow mornings are wonderful as are leafy walks on a crisp but shining November day. We Scorpios are the antithesis of dull!

I like the autumn, September (my birth month)...then I like the winter (when its a proper winter, not just rain and rain) not so keen on Dec, as its all about xmas.... but then I like spring, seeing the land come back to life...then I love the summer when we get to eat strawberries and salads and sit in the garden til late.....so I guess I love all the year!

Just not so keen on the rain!

                        I like September.
The weather is not as hot and humid as summer, but still enough of the summer's heat is retained to make for pleasant evenings sitting out in the garden.
The daytime sun not as parching, so it's pleasant to be outdoors or on holiday.
In this area autumns are usually mild and sunny, which means lots of opportunities to walk through the countryside's "fields of gold", or enjoy our National Trust membership.

I just asked my wife for a month and a one-sentence explanation and she said May "because everything has come back to life".
