Internet help please!!!

Hi all you computer whizz kids,

This morning I tried to log on to Facebook to see what the kids had been up to. I was asked for my password which I gave and the next window told me that my account had been locked as someone had tried to hack in to it. The next page asked me for ID, scan of my passport,driving licience etc. At this point I think I smelt a rat so did nothing.

What would be your advice please

I would look at the Facebook help page and either reset your password - use a combo of caps, numbers and lowercase letters - something that is strong security wise. Report it to the fraud email and call them rather than over ether if you feel more secure. Not having a Facebook account, I know not of their protocols. I suggest you run security updates as you may have been Trojan infected. Change ALL passwords if you keep the same for other accounts. What browser do you use? Firefox means you can lock areas to ask you about site security prompts rather than auto opening pages. Lots of questions really but first things first is to get your account repassworded and reopened TO YOU!
