Are we allowed to change challenges halfway through? (Not that I have the choice....)
Even if I'd been sent the right colours of fabrics, sewing is not going to happen until the daughter has moved into her own house this weekend. All hands on deck!
That's why I haven't said what my challenge is yet
OK I'm in please. Just completed my first challenge - to get this bladdy computer up and running again, and reloaded with everything that vanished in the blink of an eye! Even got a proportion of my files back. Yea!
(I may give up after a few weeks - I'm a terrible slacker and procrastinator)

Fortunately, once I'd managed to reboot from disc (8 years old) and update everything, I was able to re-download my Norton security package, which has online backup, and was able to get back everything that I had backed up, including pictures. But some stuff I never backed up, and that is gone for ever. Plus, all e-mail addresses and bookmarked websites gone.
If your PC is starting OK try searching for files and folders with windows explorer. Read how to do that here
I'm fairly new here but can I join in? My first challenge was to post something that isn't a rant but I decided that was too easy so instead I'm going to try to make sense of my Google Adwords invoices and how they relate to payments. This will mean nothing to anyone who has never dealt with Google Adwords but is actually more complicated than it sounds as they just seem to take a payment now and again which may or may not be for the amount you actually owe them. It's all very strange!
