Walkers are changing the recipe of their meat flavoured crisps so that they now include real animal. According to the report it is so they can move away from the junk food image.

That's just blummin marvelous that is. Crossing the smokey bacon ones off my shopping list for me then eh Walkers?

Manager still not seen in person, but apparently has been down chatting to everyone else about how to manage the situation........good thing I'd been chatting to them first!
Then roster person comes down to find out when I'm finishing as he's doing the 25th onwards roster, oh long before that bud! And then the one who never bothers to answer emails or say if you can or can't have leave, smilingly saying 'You're off then' Yes, and damned glad I am to be as well.

Add to that the computer system being a pain, and a couple of other people. Can I be sick for the next 2 weeks? No? Are you sure?

Mr VVG has been to the hairdressers this am and reports that the dog is still sitting by the metal barrier fence and there are no bowls there still. The dog isn't tied up but still looks miserable. I really don't want to ring the RSPCA again if they are going to do nothing

Do they do anything? It wasn't out that night we walked up there, well not that we could see. But during the day it's out, no shed/shelter, space to run about or bowls. I can understand folks if they are not in all day putting a dog in a paddock or run about space. We are not all lucky enough to be home or able to take to work. But he/she has nothing left with him/her to make for comfort. It's all I can think about now. I just don't think Roots would take to a GSD/Alsatian and it's where I put him/her. I just don't feel I can steal, although my mate Sal does. But she has two rescue dogs, three rescue cats and a load of ex batts. She may not have a husband if she takes this one too

Why won't the RSPCA do anything about it? If you don't want to call them again ask a couple of trusted people lto call them. The local council should also have animal wardens you can contact.

I don't know. I already reported it to the RSPCA. This was the police that we were discussing. It's doing my head in thinking about it to be honest.

Well, I don't advise 'stealing' it, but I would call RSPCA, Police and local Council, repeatedly. I would also take a picture and put it on the dreaded FB and make a big noise about it, on local FB groups. Something will then be done about it. It may be that the Dog is there as a deterrent or for protection of property. There may well also be someone feeding and caring for it, that you haven't seen. I hope it's sorted, soonest.

Broken pencils. Sharpen them and the 'lead' falls out because it is in short lengths.

I guess that'll teach me to buy on price and risk the abuse of the postal staff. Still cross, though.
