Minor Rant Thread part 7

Just feeling gloomy. I care for my dad, hes nearly 93, he has vertigo and bells palsy, it's just not fair. Both my sons have aspergers they are great boys but it can make family life quite difficult.

I suppose I'm just feeling sorry for myself. I'll get over it!

But no, so I'll get in the car soon will I and drive 50k's for milk? and then again this afternoon as I'd planned to? Carbon footprint? It'll be more likely my footprint on your backsides! grrrrr

Repairs system down so i need to e-mail repairs to contractor then go back and raise reports later.
Forgot i.d. badge which allows access to building and printer so I need to ring to be let in and manually log on the printer every time I want to print.
Colleague off sick so all her work's come to me
Student Assistant in self-confessed "bad mood" as he was up all night (studying, he claims)
Not a good start to the day.

Getting a quote for a carpet for the hall and stairs; I went to the shop with my dad, who the person knows reasonably well, I was the one who saw him when he came to measure, made him a cuppa, chatted. At no point did he set eyes on the OH, yet, the quote arrives addressed to MR Wix??!! Do I look like a man??? Do I??!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Sarz, that's just infuriating. I once had a tradesman patronisingly say 'well, check with your husband first love' when I'd agreed to his price (I didn't even HAVE a husband at the time). Needless to say, he didn't get my business afterall!

My rant; chuff a duck it was cold today. I had to get some compost and ferry it to the car on a shopping trolley and my hands were so cold I couldn't lift the bags. Then I rescued a tree [yellow cherry] that I'm going to use for grafting and chuff a duck, I could barely open the door to get back inside my hands were so cold.

Blokes in the rural shops who tell you to send 'the other half'in when you go in to ask about something you need to do and have never done before. I don't come in halves, and I wont be back here whole or halved!

People who need constant bolstering up, and if someone dares ignore their poor me posts or says 'pull it all together and keep trying'they have a dummy spit and require x 10 bolstering.

I forgot one. People who want a 5 minute video of the horse tied to a fence since I can't say that I tie him up much (just me, after the old arab mare we had). And a vid of him getting his feet picked up, and a picture of his frog (I didn't ask if she wanted 4 frogs or only one) Very nice girl but honestly, I'm thinking you could take another 3 hour round trip to see him again, ride him again, and decide for yourselfy! I don't feel like blowing what little upand downloads that we have left for the month on sending a 5 minute video of a horse standing still. Or not. Maybe I'll tie him up and hope he has a hissy fit so I don't waste the internet? Riding teacher had the same issue yesterday, horse she's selling and the hubby couldn't come to see the horse, so she has to video it loading onto a float so he can see it. His wife's word is obviously not good enough. The eyes on that eye rolling emoticon just don't roll well enough for me today!
