My first one ( and hopefully many others) is to teach my 11 year old daughter more about doing things for herself...
So, today I showed her how to make her own cheese pasta... Which she then did...
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
My first challenge has changed.....sewing won't be happening until next week now as I was sent the wrong colour fabrics. Instead;
Challenge 1: Get the DD and her BF safely installed in their new house (keys being collected right now as I type) We've spent today sorting out rubbish and recycling, and packed the stuff she's keeping into boxes.

My week two challenge, still on a computer theme, is to make a bootable ISO and DVD so I don't have to take two days downloading 8 years of updates back into my poota.
Ok, I'm going to bite the bullet, and week 2 challenge is to put together all the stuff I need to do my tax, and send it to the next person. This is a really hard one for me because I freakin'hate paperwork. I just loathe it! Wish me luck.
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

Ok.week 2......I'm starting to swim and take my exercise and aging seriously!
I used to swim every day and it was great........I need to commit to getting back to it on a regular basis......so fellow grapes......I make my commitment here..........
I think I can safely say that Challenge 1 is completed.....the DD is sleeping in her own house this evening. It will be bliss for us, but probably odd for her. I remember that strange disjointed feeling, leaving home into somewhere that isn't home yet.
My Week I Challenge was to have been planting a Tomcot apricot tree in the garden but it hasn't been delivered. Hopefully - that will be Week 2.
So Week 1 became :- make a Grow Light box out of bits and pieces without spending any money! http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ml#post1073390
Week 1 - make corndogs. Never made them before never will again, they tasted ok but were an utter disaster and the batter stuck all over the chip pan. Still it's good to learn.
Today I broke with all traditions today and went to the beach and had an ice cream ...... May not be much but I am usually super healthy so having a mr whippy was quite a thing!
