I'm on tesco, fine for me - they do 12 months contracts, which is the only reason I'm with them (so I can get a new phone after a year, as by then my wife's has been eaten, thrown down the loo, broken, trodden on, etc) so works out well for us.

I'm looking forward to May when my 2 years is up & I can get rid of the Galaxy Ace.......It would be brilliant if it had a better battery. Has to be charged at least once a day..sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

I have a Galaxy Ace matey. Sometimes it needs a daily charge but if I let it run down completely and then charge, it lasts for days at a timeLast edited by Aberdeenplotter; 07-01-2013, 05:50 PM.

im on tesco too - and yes it still runs off of o2's network and ive never had a problem with it, for example on new years eve my brother in-law that is on vodaphone had no signal, whereas i had full signal. Im on the iphone sim monthly rolling contract by the way, oh and i looked around at the deals too before going with tesco and they where by far one of, if not the cheapest around

I have just picked mine up, it's charging as I type.
I then went to Samsung's site and had a look at the user manual. Lets just say I will wait till the son arrives tomorrow.

Son arrived and helped me set up the phone, it has now changed to my original number and I am taking calls.
As to the rest of it all I can say is
I'll get there in the end but by heck they don't half do a lot of different things.

I have to have one VC my clients insist on it.
I don't normally do text either but my 10 year old grandaughter showed me the trick with this phone.
You just talk to it and it writes the text for you
