I always feel better for a stint in the garden or on the plot. You must be so pleased to be back again, especially in time for the new growing year.

Its been a wonderfully sunny day Darcy, just right for getting back to your allotment. Don't do too much at first - let your missus do a bit - after all, she dug it over for you and we saw how good she is

Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. It was lovely to see the sun this afternoon . I bet it was great medicine but as others have said , go steady and don't over do it. Don't want any set backs.

Thanks guys well as I was putting in my rhubarb the wifey was planting some flower bulbs that were meant to go in a few months back there all sprouting in there bags and they were cheap as chips so if they don't come through then no great loss but great if they do what's a welsh allotment without a daffodil

Nice to hear your on the up young man,it has been a real grand day to do in in to,i was at our lottie again this after, pottering around, then i got hold of the long handled baby fork, and proceeded to disturb the top soil in lots of places,it had capped over with all the wet, twas a good feeling, and the new look is great, more to do,the trick is,keeping up with it all as more ground gets ready for use, next is the onion/garlic area, plus filling in some blank spaces with a few reserves,i have sunk daf bulbs in several clumps in the newly formed area for herbs and flowers around the pond,i have laid a few broken slabs in a sort of pattern,as paths for easier access,
