I had a similar experience with Swinton car insurance. I cancelled the insurance because they were to expensive and insured with another company.

One fine day I looked at my bank account and realised something was wrong. Over £600 wrong, contacted Swinton got nowhere, contacted my bank money back in my account in 24 hours. Then Swinton were on the wrong foot, when they contacted me I advised them I would see they at 'the top of the steps' Nottm slang for take me to court. Heard no more.

Contact your bank get the money put back in your account and let them try to get it back out of you.

Taken a day or two but got there. Still annoyed at reference to my subscription when I didn't subscribe and it took reference to blatant mis-selling to get the proper result so pleased to get there. There's only one really good gardening mag anyway isn't there ?
