The Midcounties Co-operative Community Fund opens for applications on
7 January 2013 and will close on 8 February 2013, with grants of up to £2,000.

Co-operative Community Funding - The Midcounties Co-operative
Groups need to:
• Be working within The Midcounties Co-operative trading locales (please view map for trading locales) Store Locator - The Midcounties Co-operative
• Be a not for profit, third sector voluntary or community group active in their local community and run by local people, with an income of less than £200,000 (in the last financial year)
• Be established for at least 12 months when you apply
*The applicant must have proven personal involvement with the group applying for funding i.e. be a Member of the Group/Group’s Management Committee, is a service user, paid member of staff or a volunteer.
Examples of what can be funded are:
• The purchase of equipment
• The costs of putting on a local event or workshop
• Staff costs to enable the employment of individuals, contribution to rent costs (related to activities / service delivery)
• The cost of attending a conference or event which provides training for volunteers
• Additional activities to expand an existing funded project
• Activities that meet an identified need in the local community, funding to support an organisation to achieve a quality or other standard, relevant to their activities.
