As I'm new to gardening and gardening tv programmes, I hadn't seen this before so quite enjoyed it. Carol used to annoy me but now I quite like her - she's genuinely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her subject area, unlike some programmes where the presenter is someone with no background at all in that area.

Noooooo! I won't have a word said against the lovely Monty! My Monty fix on Gardener's World was the highlight of my week I am bereft now that Gardener's World is off screen.

I am looking forward to my weekly fix of Beechgrove returning. Read in today's Amateur Gardening that it's going nationwide and will be broadcast on BBC2 on Sunday lunchtimes from the end of March/ beginning of April. I think it's like Gardener's World when Geoff Hamilton was the presenter. I do like Monty but Geoff was the best. I love the banter between the presenters on Beechgrove.
