I posted a week or so ago about the IT test I needed to do as part of an interview. Well it didn't go as well as I'd hoped because the version they were using was not the one they'd told me they had, and the chap was looking over my shoulder all the time, making notes, so I got a little flustered!
It couldn't have been too bad though, because, subject to references and crb check (both of which SHOULD be ok), they offered me the job
It isn't quite what I'd understood from the job description. Due to funding cuts it is a 5 month contract rather than permanent, and based in 2 different offices 20 miles apart, so a bit more travelling than I'd thought.
However on the plus side, if I don't like it, I only need to survive for 5 months, it will give me experience in finance admin, and the hours are 8 until 4, so I'll be home at reasonable time to go to the lottie when the evenings get lighter. Perhaps by then the sugarcraft workshops will have taken off and I will be earning enough from them to manage.
