I'll go anywhere, anywhen, that's possible logistically. But Botanical Gardens...do they search you for secateurs ?
Must go look up a map to find out where Birmingham is...
Anyone know of any campsites nearby ? Or dog-friendly B&B's ? Couldn't go without my Best Friend...she'd never forgive me.

Is the Botanical Gardens dog-friendly Sno? Just a thought as so many of them aren't

Neither have I, shockingly considering its less than hour's drive for me. What are the attractions?

Can't get to Birmingham from here til 12:15 on a Sunday, and the tickets would be £61.00! Looks like I may have to bow out

It never occurred to me that there wouldn't be somewhere to at least tie a dog up ! (She has her own jacket and pad to lie on, and never wants for a crowd of admirers when I leave her tied up - my main worries are overfeeding and dognapping.)
Hmm, I shall have to go do online research...well, it may be that I will have to leave her in the tent for that part of the day. She's old, so her Snooze button is the default setting anyway. I just hate to leave my faithful shadow behind...
Would anyone be coming with a car that I could leave her in the passenger footwell of ? If she thinks there is the chance of going somewhere, she will curl up happily and snooze in any car, waiting for a driver...any driver ! ...she doesn't climb on seats, bark, or anything like that, shedding dog hair is the only problem.

If I leave Roosty with Mr VVG and take Zaz - she can go in the back of my estate. We don't give a damn about dog hair, licks, etc. Can put windows down a crack, alarm off, tinted windows so nobody can see her/steal her. She will be very safe. We even have dog bowls. May need to lift her though depending on how elderly she is. I don't have a dog ramp. We used to lift Tansy, but Rupert jumps up. It's a big area and has a dog divider from the seating area.

I never eat grapes with coffee, only before and usually with cheese. Then I like it

Do they have veggie meals? As I am leaning more that way.

VC isn't Chris coming up - thought you were bunking up with him?!?
