    Lovely pics BB. I brought some of Estrelicias back with me one year - and some orchids from the Botanic Gardens. Hard to get them to flower here though

        I've got my agapnthus seed germinated.. and my strelitzia (sp?) is putting up a new leaf ..fingers are crossed .
        S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
        a batch of jam is always an act of creation ..Christine Ferber

            I've got a hooge seed/nut from some sort of tree somewhere, d'ya think he'd like that to grow ?

              I have grown both from seed but only managed to get the estrelitzia (sp?) to flower once. Fun trying though!!

                  The seedcase (or nutcase ) was as big as a melon , would've done some damage if it landed on your head.........p'haps that's where calling someone a nutcase comes from

                        Did you see the tree it came from Bin's ? If so was it covered in thorns (like a rose but much more HD) ?

                                That's perfect very well done I have dozens of stralitzia pictures taken on holidays,but I would be hard pushed to find a better example,top marks from me & I reckon use should enter that in the virtual vine show later this year
