I know there's some computer buffs on here and hoping someone can help. I have a disc with almost 300 pics on it, I have tried to copy them to a card as my DVD reader is not working properly ( erratic opening, can't always get it to open) on my husbands laptop but although the pictures will open on the lap top the card appears blank when I try to open/read them through my camera.

Oh ok, seemed like an easy thing to do. Yes I do mean an sd. Card, it just says its blank/ no files found . Thought it would be straightforward copy action. What is confusing is that the disc with the photos on is unreadable on my computer . The one time I did manage to open the DVD player it didn't read them straight from the disc.
Getting very frustrated, need to do some printing!Gardening forever- housework whenever

Probably won't open them because the format is different once they have been through the laptop?
I'd not trust an SD card personally; I have a hard drive that all mine are copied to.Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better...Albert Einstein
