  • First time using Thompson and Morgan!

    Well let me start off by saying, i recieved a £10 thompson and morgan voucher from the grow your own magazine for being quoted in it, so straight away i looked through thompson and morgans website, and i saw a few things that i liked such as the 5 begonia tubers online for £1.99, and it was free P&P that weekend, so on sunday evening i created an account with thompson and morgan, i added the things to my basket, and thats where it started to go wrong. -

    Their website started to run very slow, and then it started to crash, however 1 hr later i had gotten all of my items in my basket, so i preceded to checkout, but it kept on crashing, so after around 15 attempts (literally, no exageration),i managed to filled in my detatils, only to be told that i hadn't confirmed my details via email -so i checked my emails and they hadn't sent me one, then 2 minutes later i had an email from them saying that my order had been dispatched.

    Then i recieved another email straight after saying 'did you have any problems wit our website' - but i thought ive managed to order them now, so theres no point in complaining!

    However i have just checked my invoice again and i should have been charged around £2.99 as i had no postage to pay and i used my voucher - however they have charged me around £10 more than they should have - due to them chrging me full price for the begonias (£12.99, instead on £1.99) and then they also charged me for P&P!

    Anywa ive just emailed them complaining - im not a very happy bunny - to all those who ordered over the weekend i suggest you check your invoices!!!

    I tried to place an order too Matt and had problems, slow, crashing, apology emails etc. I suspect that is why they extended the free P&P offer until tonight. I didn't bother to order anything in the end - too much hassle.!

      yep dont worry ive gave them an ear full - ive told them either charge me the correct price or cancel my order!!!

        oooh just had an email back from them - their customer service dept will contact me shortly.

        maybe it was a glitch on their computers then??? - seems odd as its a well recomended company!!

          It may have been overloaded with all those trying to avoid paying P&P
