Hard to believe he's four today.
That said, he's growing up fast.
Just the other day we got a note from his nursery 'A moment to share' they call it.
During the day one of his class mates pointed to the colour board, and one of the adults (carers) said that is was the French colours - to which Hayden said "Bonjour is what you say in France". The carer then asked "and what does it mean, do you know?" He replied "hello".
He'd learned it from a TV programme.
Then, last weekend I was in a local garden centre with him and asked him what seeds shall we pick to grow for this year? He then went along the racks picking up packets, "cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, sweetcorn, beetroot, courgettes, crabbies..."
Crabbies was in fact Kohl Rabi - close when you think about it.
Proud dad.
Son, if you ever read this when you are grown up, you make me so proud - every day.
I'm a lucky daddy, thank you. Happy birthday son.
