Just had a quick look at Moles, SOLD OUT on all their spuds.

I'd never actually heard of them until today and then had a "light bulb" moment.

Please feel free to shout "we've already done that" if we have but how about a thread/page that just has links to seed suppliers/companies? We have all, I'm sure, tried the "big guys" but some of the smaller companies are just as good if you have heard of them and know the web address.

Any thoughts from the Mod's or anyone else?

I think you're being a bit impatient to be honest. I ordered my seed potatoes on Dec 26th and they only arrived yesterday. That's because they send them out in the order that they receive them, and people have been ordering since November! That's going to be a hell of a lot of orders to get though before they got to mine... If it was packets of ordinary seed taking that long I'd be worried, but seed spuds ordered that late will have to take their place in the queue...

Was reading their catalogue last night - 5 tubers for £3.49? I don't think I'll be having any trouble ordering from them. Local garden centre charges about 80p for five really good quality Jamieson seed potatoes.

I ordered mine in October and they arrived first week in January, so that seems about right.

I'm waiting as well. My order was placed at the end of December too. I remember when I ordered my onions, that I had ordered late, so they were responding in relation to the time ordered. Though I would like to know how long I might have to wait, the windows given for delivery are from January to March. So I always end up checking if the post man has been that and ma generally tells me when he has.

I ordered seed potatoes from Marshalls and they came about 2 weeks later. There was a note with them saying that there was a shortage of potatoes this year due to last year's bad weather and it was taking longer to dispatch them.
