It's not often I feel the urge to write LOL but I did LOL when I realised that the three free foxglove and geranium plugs were not (nieve to even think it, I know) meant to be three of each so I had only had half of the apology delivered but three plugs: one of which is a geranium and two of which are foxgloves.

Just wanted to add my experience this year with T&M. I ordered Lady Christl and Charlotte seed pots from them and when the tubers eventually arrived they were soft and not in particularly good health. I'd ordered them in good time but had to chase T&M up for them and unfortunately by the time I had received them it was too late to get them from anywhere else. The Charlotte potatoes harvested were nothing like the waxy spuds I'm used to - they are more like a floury pot - and the flowers on both types were white not pink as they are meant to be so I suspect they weren't the correct variety. I also ordered some begonia tubers 'apricot shades' which now they are flowering have turned out to be various shades of red! I also ordered a wild flower plug collection only to find the teasel had been replaced without telling me - annoying when this was one of the plants I had really wanted. Overall, including the seeds I bought from them, I spent a fair amount of money but will be taking my custom elsewhere in future.

Order Number: xxxxxxxx Really disapoited in you service - again.
Dear Sir,- I have just received the following:- one fig tree, Madeleine de Saisons, it should have come in a three litre pot.
- Someone has crossed out the three and written in 1.5l.
- This is not what I ordered and is not what I paid for.
- I wanted a fig in a three litre pot that would fruit well as soon as possible.
I would like to know, within one week, please how you intend to redress this failure.
I don't know if it's better or worse that this was mostly paid for with my apology vouchers for the lack of bedding plants."A life lived in fear is a life half lived."

So, I am pleased to report that I got an initial e-mail within 24 hours and a resolving one within 48, assuming the replacement plant turns up in November. They also said I was welcome to keep the first plant. (According to the paper work it was valued at £6.99 when the plant I ordered was £26.99).
Good job I can recognise a 1.5l pot when I see one!
If I'm being uncharitable, it seems a shame they have to blame the supplier so "it's not our fault"."A life lived in fear is a life half lived."
