Just found a quote in a very old gardening book, late eighteen hundreds, and thought I'd share..
"The garlic has a flavour peculiar to itself and an oudur that no one can mistake who has enjoyed a puff from the mouth of a wandering spaniard"
Whilst writing I remembered this one.
