Well we had a good day at the EGS sadly did not meet any grapes but did meet Rachel from Moreveg, what a nice lady & Tim Jeffries (general manager) from DTBrown & his lady assistant with a winning smile, very nice peeps to talk to & very informative .
Anyone from the North,West or Midlands who is even thinking of going should deffo go tomorrow,as next year it will be moving to Ally Pally in Londinium

Sorry I missed you BB. I ended up only being there for an hour or so as I came across a reenactment market on my way to the show and just HAD to pop in (it's the other hobby!)
I did meet up with a couple of colleagues from work but it didn't take me long to get round and only bought a couple of pairs of gloves and a piece of cake! I'm not sure it was worth the 15 entrance fee
I popped in to Ryton gardens on my way out from the show and spent more there than in the showground!

That was not the consensus of opinion of the peeps I spoke to overs coffee/beer breaks, quite a lot of the stall holders were also debating the worth of the new venue.

Blimey the current venue was expensive enough for space, dread to think how much space will cost in London........They could have done so well with a more realistic pricing structure......

Read the threads previously. I was very enthusiastic first year, but I'm afraid there was nothing new that I could see to draw me. How the hell will they fill it at Alexander Palace? I'm sorry BB but the comments I've seen on here before, I now concur with. They've really got to up their game.
