That's really cute!
Coming home from somewhere one evening, we got held up on the motorway where the M5 branches off to the M4. Crawling along, I was staring out of the window (I wasn't driving!) and there, on the barrier, was the neatest line of wellies! Five pairs in size order from Dad's plain black boots, Mum's floral ones, oldest child's bright red stripes, next one down's Frog wellies to baby's sparkly pink tiny ones!
The only thing I can think of is that the family had a puncture and emptied the boot of boots to get to the spare wheel, and then forgot their boots in the relief of getting away again.
Surreal.....but sweet.Jules
