Something that appeared on our local Facebook had a cinema that I frequented in my youth in the wrong place. I've actually given up correcting people over people and places as I seem to be shot down in flames by people who weren't there at the time but seem to know what happened and this is about the cinema I went to on Saturdays whilst my father was in the pub.

And after humming the William Tell overture all day, I think I've reached rock bottom on the intellectual scale by remembering that the Barron Knights did a skit of it, featuring, IIRC, poppadoms and pompoms. Oh, that I've sunk so low.....
