  • I was one of the "norty" tangentisers too before I was "promoted" to Modhood - just as BB was. Now I poke myself with the pointy stick ...............ooh, stop it, it tickles

We don't have a Joke thread as there were so many -ism jokes that offended somebody. This thread is a dumping ground for off-topic posts that amuse us (some of us)

    • Well, all that accounts for why this place is so sensible.

No sooner said than done. Somewhat more slowly, seeing as the brain cells seem to be on permanent strike, I have added what I hope is a suitable avatar. Pretty much resembles how my brain feels.

          • I've just re-read this entire thread all the way through (over 3 days). So many funny videos and pictures and witticisms, well worth the read. Good enough to turn into a book, I'd say

                • I got back from holiday about a month ago and had a nose bleed the next day. Not really worried about it but we're 4 weeks later and the scab hasn't gone away, very uncomfortable. I really don't like going to the doctor unless i think it's important.

This is a throw back to my dad's complaints about about his patients (he was a GP) and the really petty complaints he had to deal with. Do i wait it out or do I see my GP?

                      • I would get it checked out, Janie. 4 weeks is quite a long time and you might need something to clear it up. I don't think it is a petty complaint with that length of time. Sooner you go, sooner it can get sorted
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
