    You can't overdose with Rockdust apparently. The urea is not to counteract anything, it is quite simply a fertiliser.

        • Well maybe at some point the expert can tell me what she uses for nitrogen fertiliser .... and why she prefers rock dust over the other thing ......cos I haven't used either and am wondering if I should.

          • Redthorn, it may well be naturally contained within urine but it is not urine. It is manufactured for agricultural/horticultural application.

                There's naturally occuring urea which is excreted in urine and chemically produced urea which is excreted from a chemical plant.

                              I think Binley is looking at all the alternatives that a master gardener needs to think about. If I get big onions again this year Jo you can come and feel one, maybe take it home. I have Rockdusted EVERY bed.
