  • I rarely buy and processed food and never buy any ready meals. Any burgers we have are homemade and taste far better.

I'd probably eat horse in a resturant if it was on the menu but I don't like being mislead about what I'm eating, that's the real problem I'd have with the situation.

    • IKEA had to remove some of their famous meatballs from sale now as well....
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

      • That sort of thing was exactly the point of the OP. It is truly horrifying. What will be next. Our nearest IKEA isin Edinburgh and we usually eat in their restaurant if shopping there. Guess what I have? no more I'm afraid.

              • yeeeeuch.

saw a programme on sky the other day on the theme of insects though. Tiny flies in such quantities that they are harvested and squashed in to patties and then fried and eaten. Pure protein. I suppose with some onion and seasoning and horse through it, it could well be formed into a whining sausage

                            • I took a "beef" pie back to the chippy last week because there was a slug in it
When I complained the chippy said it was "FAT"
I said "I should think it is fat it's eaten all the meat"
