forgot to sow seeds!

ok, how many of us have waited 2 or 3 weeks for germination, only to find that we put the compost in the cells, but forgot to put the seeds in

I did this and have just found out!

On a side note, I sowed spring onions in cells around 2 weeks ago, but nothing showing yet, how long do they usually take? (And yes I am 100% sure I put the seeds in)!

Only grew them once and my seeds took forever to germinate, they took so long that I sowed some more in the same trough, when they did all come through there were hundreds all squashed in together. From memory I would say mine took at least 4 weeks if not more. Can't say I've ever forgot to put the seed in but I quite often forget which seeds I have put in when there's more than one packet next to me.

What temperature have you got for germination.......iveclost my bhut jolokia....over wearing it think! Got some Trinidadian scorpions on the go though......
