I do horsey stuff but dont ride due to lack of time now - must try & get some me time to tack my girlie up & start again. I love my animals, have dog, cat, guineapigs as well as the chickens & pony. Have just started to think about homebrewing, jewellery making & painting of some sort. Have got the stuff to start but not done yet.

After I teach the last teen to drive I may need more to keep me busy - altho I could need a padded room by the time she's sorted
I remember when eldest son was learning to drive. Arrgghhh!

Mine are photography, bird watching and motorsport marshalling - I organise the Marshal team for all the car events at Cadwell Park, so can go from sitting in an office with a radio to putting out car fires via driving a nice M3 round at sensible speeds.

In my spare time beyond a full time job and the demands of kids: I somehow manage to horseride, breed chickens, enjoy cooking, and paint (equine and other animal)

How do you get them to stand still long enough?
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

Playing the guitar - mostly electric but a bit of acoustic too.
                Whitewater kayaking.
                Driving.
                Fell walking.
Making a nuisance of myself on't internet.
Learning as much as I can about as many different things as possible.

There are other things I enjoy doing but there just isn't enough time to do them all, so although I occasionally pick up the brushes and slap a bit of oil paint on a canvas - I couldn't really call it a hobby as it's something I do so rarely. The same applies to pencil drawings, cycling and...well the list goes on but I'll stop there, the main things have been covered in the first six lines.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

Oh ha ha Rocketron!!! Fell walking is fun - such a challenge - i havn't bothered really since leaving the Lake District .
I would like to pursue my painting more though - the only paintings i ever seem to do are commissions so it would be lovely to create a portfolio- I am thinking ahead to the days when I retire from being an art teacher of course......

I like to travel - specifically visiting archipelagos, I'm trying to get to as many as possible before I shuffle off.

Apart from gardening and wandering around garden centres, I like photography. Got an slr camera about 18 months ago and am now doing a photography evening class. Loving it although I do wish there were more hours in the day and more days in the week

Flower arranging, wedding flowers, especially button holes. Anything "arty". I recently went to a few bookbinding courses, japenese long stitch which were really interesting. Though with teenage boys that love rugby, most weekends I'm usually stood on the side of the pitch cheering them on!

Good to 'see' you back here! Hope you won't be bed-bound for too long!

Hobbies, hmmm, well Horse, now retired, sadly, due to arthritis, but all the chores still need to be done. Chooks. Being entertained by the Dawg. Chatting and wasting time on the internet, and recently, I have rekindled my liking for doodling with pencils.

Move into a barn, they are normally full of straw bales, saves on transportation....
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Too expensive, mate. There's a Barn locally, very rickety, and with hardly any land. It has planning consent to convert to a dwelling. How much?
