Cooking, sewing, papercrafts, football (watching, don't play any more), reading, socialising (does that count?), tracing family trees (got one part of my family back to 1500s but really do need to find the time to write it up some time ), walking and probably loads of other things but can't remember of the top of my head. GYO takes up more time than most of the others though

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

reading, cross stitch, some general crafty bits and bobs but most of my non-gardening time is taken up with LARP (Live action Roleplay) which kinda involves running around fields dressed in costume hitting people with spells and swords - it's kinda odd but great fun!

If I had the time, I would like to give my fishing & badminton equipment an airing.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

DIY I suppose.. I seem to do an awful lot of it. But bar that, I enjoy diving (scuba), though haven't had much chance to do it really, since moving back to the UK (still love it though ), any outdoor activities really.
I do enjoy watching movies as well, I wanted to put in a project & screen in our living room, but I had that "look". Eventually she came around to the idea, but the ceiling had already been skimmed - argh !
From my enjoyment of DIY and outdoor "stuff" though, I'd really like to build my own house. Well, not soley me building it, ya know - but I'd be totally hands on (i.e. making sure any contractors were doing it to my standard ).

Most of you know mine already.
Outdoor activities - I enjoy hillwalking and lead walks for a few of the local Rambling Clubs. I also love working on my allotment and that takes up a fair bit of time I'm also a birdwatcher and do local surveys every now and then for the BTO.
Indoor activities - I am a spinner and weaver which I do at home and at my local Guild. Then there's knitting and crocheting and reading. Phew! How did I find time to go to work?Forbidden Fruits make many Jams.

Spend as much time in the mountains as possible. Ski in the winter. Walk and ride mountain and motorcycles in the summer.
I also read a huge amount and as my own writing brings in very little income, I guess that is a hobby too.Le Sarramea https://jgsgardening.blogspot.com/
