I knit, crochet, quilt, make bobbin lace, play various musical instruments, make preserves, walk miles and morris dance.
I suppose since the conservation work I do is voluntary that's a hobby too.
I just finished an OU earth science degree and am now missing the whole OU thing, so may need to start a new subject.
I play Chess, am a member of local Family History Society and study Local History, read a lot, and most importantly of all look after my 3 grandkids as and when required. Used to be a Munro Bagger but stopped after completion - the allotment is a good substitute.

I like to get my rod out on a cold beach at night, in fact I shall be doing this Friday night on Frinton beach, 7.30pm til 1.30am-ish, northeasterly cool breeze, big moon... your all welcome!
