Then I tonight I thought to myself I know just the place for some good advice and saw people were expressing concern over to many garden related threads so here I am.

I would take it to your GP, but they will more than likely hand you a scrip for Betnovate or some such other. UV light is used in serious cases. Oilatum helps with itchyness - oily bath stuff. Balneum is another. You will be beautifully soft if you start using them - as an upside

Now you ain't going to believe this one.

So I has my shower last night goes downstairs and says to SWMBO

"You know that patch of dry skin on my elbow? Its psoriasis"

Now remember SWMBO has watched me dressing it for just over a week.

"Oh" she says "I have some special cream for that as supplied by the doctor, would you like some".

Why I didn't get the special cream before I know not

You will excuse me when I say WIMMEN

Oatmeal in a sock rubbed onto the area works and takes out the itchiness or hang it over the hot bath tap and let the water run through it when you run a bath.

Out of interest- how do you know for sure it's psoriasis pots?

If your GP diagnosed it- surely he should have sorted out a cream for you?

Have a chat with a pharmacist- they may be able to help you as they must see loads of peeps with this problem

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to close this thread- we're not supposed to have any medical based threads on here.

Hope you get it sorted soon
