Although I'm sure if there's a chance of restocking first the supermarkets will be chomping at the bit and the food lorries will have priority to get through. When we had this year's snow, all the supermarkets were on the news telling us how they were all fully stocked up...free advertising - great for them!

I was 8 at the time so i only remember the fun bits like walking to the village school through a channel that cut in the snow and the sides of it were higher than I could reach.

If the main distribution points, in places like Avonmouth, get snowed in then forget supermarkets.
