Willingly.
I was advised to use ModgePodge, but the stuff costs the earth over here. Wallpaper paste is too soggy. So I ended up using PVA, which dries clear & not too shiny. Brush it on to the wall, not the cards - make sure your card is just where you want it because the glue gets a stiff grip PDQ. Let the walls dry for a few days and brush over another good even coat of PVA. Buy the PVA from the DIY dept, not the crafts bit...much cheaper that way!
If you're doing an awkward bit, such as a corner, glue both wall and card and allow to become tacky. A wallpaper seam roller is really handy for anything that starts to lift or curl.
I would have loved to have done one wall in our bedroom with old fashioned sepia postcards, both the pictures and the writing sides, but I was worried that the ink would run with the PVA when I sealed them. I'm still tempted......you can buy huge collections on the 'bay.Last edited by julesapple; 02-03-2013, 12:35 AM.Jules
