It's been that ruddy warm here today, my car temperature display said 28 degrees! I have on a short-sleeved polo shirt, and have burnt the little fat bit of forearm by my elbow. Both arms.

Victor Meldrew! It's had another one - but this time I can only see feathers on the garden and no bird. Seen the cat though - beautiful large black with the greenest eyes I've ever seen. Sorry, evening everyone. Just took me an hour to water. The Long Red Florence are taking their time to establish so I gave them a good soak.

Popped to the allotment this evening and it was warmer than I've been all day - it's quite sheltered there.
