        • G'Mooooooooooornin' Peeps! Busy busy yesterday, didn't get time to pop back in. Posted a couple of things here in Safari yesterday, then that threw me out, too. Good to know the Malware detection stuff works though!

I've joined two other sites recently (Chooks/Dogs) and have had to wait for 'Admin' to approve my 'request' before I'm allowed in. Really really annoying, as you join up because you want to 'jump in' (I think), and by the time they get round to letting you in, you've kind of gone off the idea. Still weaititng for the second one, incidentally... I'm guessing these other sites aren't as big as this one, but I do think it's something our Techies need to think about now.

Anyway, that's enough of my rambling - you lot OK? Coffee?

          • Good morning, all. The sun is really trying here but there is a lot of haze about.

            • Morning I had my first mug of tea sat in the GH looking at my tiny tiny cucumber plants willing them to grow.

Know the feeling Bren, sitting here willing the wet wood to catch alight! Wet wood, how nice, cept I'm freezing. Still got smokey breath from just breathing.

VC - lesson on the catflap? That might be hard, I once got thru the dog flap at my cousins when I came home from europe earlier than expected, but even that was a tight squeeze in parts!

Loving the wet stuff - had some more rain while I was away, and some more this evening. Even better found a spare rug for the horse. A dry one.

One of the staff this morning got a call to say her son had been hit by a car on the way to uni for an exam (was very foggy this morning) but by lunchtime they had put in a tube to keep an eye on the pressures in his brain and it was good so far - fingers crossed.

Had one of those super busy days at work today. You know when you have someone at work, and they are not nasty, but you just can't like them............yep, she was there today but kept out of my way.

G4 hope you get accepted on the new sites soon.

Flippin' 'eck, Feral. Without wishing to be rude, that was some dog flap
We've been trying to master the Catflap (yes - its cat size). Sometimes, you just know its not going to work

Been down the allotment this morning for three hours it's the first time since Friday(too wet) & the weeds had took advantage of my absence.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Traffic still all snarled up with the Obamas knocking about
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                          • Eeeeeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps. Had a good day, today, ending with a nice walk with the Dawg. Decided to run the bath, when I got in, so the tank can reheat, and I can top it up again when I get in a little later. Turned on Poota, made Coffee, sat down at Poota, checked 'stuff' and read emails, answered an advert, g**gled a bit, finished my coffee, then remembered the bath! By this time it was full to the brim, and freezing!

                            Stoopid c*w!

                              • Yes, I know what you mean, LD! Just realised my auto-opening Chook door isn't auto-anything at the mo. New batteries hasn't cured it, so I've gurgled, and am now off back down the garden armed with knife, screwdriver and scribbled instructions.

                                Wish me luck...
