When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

    • Hello All - I'm back from my Fungi day. Absolutely brilliant, fantastic weather, good company and we had nettle risotto and Winecap mushrooms with a flowery salad for lunch. And, don't laugh, I've used a cordless drill for the first time in my life. I feel so pleased with myself
Still waiting for RTette I see.

          • No RTette news. I'm thinking they are all three very preoccupied and things are afoot......or ahead at least.

Hoping those RTs are all fine - my heart goes out to poor Mrs RT. Indescribable exhaustion - even though a new baby, safely arrived, will be worth it. It's so late I'm thinking it must be a girl.......

                            • Here's hoping Mrs RT. I shall check in now and again. I'm NOT to be on here too much tho

                              How much is too much?

2nd day of winter here. And it is. Windy as, bitter as, almost raining as (usual). Thinking those batties will be glad of the fluffy bits they've managed to grow since they arrived. Think it may have rained a smidge overnight. Pony club on over at the mountains club today - last time we went it was like this! So glad to be close to the fire and coffee instead today.

Petal glad to hear the new horse is great. We'd like a break with them over here too, please, horse fairy.
I'm off to read what the rest of you have been up to whilst I slept, and let the cat in and out allnight. Catflap is moving up the to do list fast.
