              • Oi oi you lot, settle!!

Glorious sunny morning here with the man reading the weather on the radio proudly proclaiming that we would be hotter than Greece today!!

Working today Hazel, so only had the one glass of red last night

Have to try and see waht can be done with herself's car..It was bad enough that it had to be brought home by a tow truck...Hopefully nothing too serious, but we shall see..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                • I've just been chatting up the builders laying a patio next door I've scrounged some of those pallet crates that slabs are delivered in (perfect for raised beds). They'll carry them round for me later - must buy some milk for their tea (Milk and 2 sugars I was told )
Apparently they're too heavy for me to move so must decide where they go. Exciting times

                  • Morning all.

Well done VC... We came home with a big stack of flower buckets last night

Had to resist squeaking in excitement yesterday when I spotted the wild rasps in leaf...yay...surrounded by nettles...boo. At least I can make some nettle tea now though.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

                      • I've dragged them together now, to make a 6'x3' bed. Trying to decide how to line the sides to stop the soil falling through. If I was clever it would be planks, since I'm not it maybe some sort of membrane
I also "found" a TV trolley thingy on castors in my Mum's flats' rubbish area Could be useful for moving plants around in the GH!

                        • 1 : Are they still 3x3 or have you knocked the ends out where you put them together ?
2: Are you in a rush to fill them VC ? (before the month ends)

I will check back later for answers to the above,I am of to the pub to talk 4x4,later peeps

                          • 1. Still 3x3 BB while I play about with them!
                            2. No rush unless I get some soil from next door, in which case it'll go in them.
                            3. Enjoy your evening! is a 4x4 a larger pallet?

                            • Eeeeeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps. Today is one of those days; you know, the ones where you feel double your actual age. Everything huuuuuuuurts! Knees, calves, thighs, lower and upper stomach muscles, shoulders, forearms and neck. I tried really hard in Pilates, last night, and two afternoons gardening, mainly on my knees, is taking a toll. Took the Dawgs for a long brisk walk, too, which hasn't helped - but they didn't seem to mind.

Came home to Husband saying, have you done..., ... and ...? No I ruddy haven't!

He has run me a bath, and poured me a G&T though. Bless!

You lot OK? Hope you don't ache too.
