  • I'm with you on the aches G4 - full day at the allotment yesterday, and all afternoon today. Been a lovely sunny day but the wind is still cold here on the coast.

I'm fine thanks but Mr Pots aches, today finally got around to using up the Millstone grit stone slabs we found when we first moved in here they're now stepping stones across the lawn then down between the veg plot and workshop. I did help but some of them were 40 inch long so weighed lots.

      • Best you'd better get in the bath, RL, and Mr. Pots. Not together, obviously!! I'm off to soak my aches - I may be gone some time...

        • Should be doing school work, but can't engage the brain. Pottered on the plot, watered bits and pieces. Now going to veg for a bit, I think.

            3. Enjoy your evening! is a 4x4 a larger pallet?

Are they like builder's bags, BB? I wondered whether they were the same dimensions as the crates! In fact, I have an old one somewhere - I'll try it for size tomorrow.

                • Yep thems the ones VC,sand bags with loops at the corners,I thought if they are in the shed & the right size the green colour would not be as visible as the normal white or yellow ones

                  • It would be a lot easier too, just drop a bag in the crate, with a few slits in the bottom for drainage.

                          • Goodnight!

I'm up and we're having homemade sausage rolls hot out of the over.......well I had to bribe the boy to go down and let the chooks out and feed the horses.

-4C overnight, and very foggy. Should be nice day when it warms up tho. Off to get hay today.

Overcast this morning but the weather people say it will be a nice day so it's off down the allotment in about an hour.
