  • Alldigging, I think friends Specialist had just seen too many people who had not been diagnosed for too long because of thinking it's just nothing much. Kids with Juvenile RA suffer a lot before they get some help.

Have been sitting here waiting for daughter to ring back. She phoned while I was out shopping yesterday. And while I was in the shower today. Pita when they lost their mobiles and you can't get hold of them.

Shall be off now to collect her and a friend. Drop friend and get cat and fish food, and then home to more office sorting. Exciting d@mn life I have!

Hope you have a good trip Jules.

    • Another sunshiny day - silly me for thinking that summer was over last night
I'm orf on a "Herbs - Myth, Magic and Medicine" day. A morning of foraging (with poetry & music), and an afternoon making potions and incense
Hubble bubble, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble..............
      Have a safe journey Jules!
Hope you all have a splendiferous day doing whatever you enjoy

        • Son jumping up and down on me at 5:30 so took both boys to living room. Alex threw up on me, duvet and down me dressing gown sleeve. Missus getting some much needed sleep. Daughter just surfaced and holding Alex so I can make coffee. Anyone want a cuppa?

It's a lovely day even if the sun has not broken through the clouds yet

          • Hello again.
I've not logged in or posted for nearly a year so I thought I had better just say hello again.
My back garden veggie plot is on a huge go slow this year so I decided to pop on to look to see if all the experts on here are having the same problems as me but I thought that I had better say hello again nicely first.
Right time to have a good read of the forums and hope that I find some advice on whether all my 'only just sprouted/germinated' veg will be ok.
Its a beautiful day here in Derby. I hope its the same where you are.

              • Welcome back Row, and good morning to everyone. Overcast here this morning and we've still got that cold north-easterly wind.

                  • Oh RT you are a man in a million - so many men just don't do spew!

Horsey afternoon for daughter. The ranger looking lovely but being an @rse according to the girl. The new horse definately being an @rse - altho was glad to see I wasn't the only one who had trouble lunging him!

Some beautiful views during the afternoon. And a glass of red after putting new boxes into the hen house - funny birds they are. They inspected each one, inside and out. And then tonight went back into the old nest boxes. Have put up an old quilt on the front of the coop to stop it being so cold at night for them.

Satay for dinner with homegrown bok choi and broccoli. Mmmm.

Early bed and watch a movie with daughter I think. She's pretty tired after a sleepover party - they need to be called Wake-over parties I think!

                    • Kids who are hypermobile/have hypermobility syndrome are often told they have 'growing pains'. I was fed that line, and my two sisters; I ended up with a disc prolapse at 16, big sis had dislocating shoulders, little sis had dislocating knees They tried it with #2 son and I went bananas. Why the hell should 'growing' hurt ffs?! Idiots.

                        Coffee?

                        • I'll take that as a 'No' then!

Just caught the younger dog-lodger actually playing with my dawg. So good to see - shame they don't know how to play, I think so anyway. They've played together a couple of times over the last few days.

Oh and the really good news is that Mr.G says I'm allowed to start looking for a companion for our dawg!

                            • Good Evening All! My hands smell amazing - I've been blending incense this afternoon with lots of different ingredients including gold, frankincense and myrrh This morning we walked around the nature reserve learning about using wild herbs in medicine and made lemon balm tincture with vodka Glorious weather. Met lots of new people, had a laugh, acquired a bag of woodchip to make a bed for growing Winecap mushrooms and had a really good day.

Had a nice three hours on the plot today. With Bollywood floo'ers. And I spotted an over wintering onion.

Now going to eat a Bollywood non meaty shepherds pie.
