  • Well, shockingly cold all day here. Only took the padded jacket off for 45 mins while I sat on the front steps in the sun.

Been doing some sorting in the office this afternoon. Coldest room in the house I think! Not there yet, but it's on it's way!

Fire's on tonight, can't take another morning like that one. Best start ordering more wood I guess.

Small white fluffy dog has been limping badly since last night. He was outside the house yard again. I'd say he chased the horses and one of them gave him a good kick for his trouble. Pity it probably won't stop him chasing them tho. I'm getting sick of carrying him up and down the stairs tho.

Pea and ham soup is ready. No sourdough I'm afraid. I've been very slack in the bread dept.

Wonder who VC is holding hands with today?

Mind you it's been winter here since 1/6.

Soup went down well with everyone. So glad the kids all love the stuff as well.

Age showing here too. The leaf is the extending bit that you put into a table to make it bigger.
