          • Aaaaaaaaaaarternoooooon Peeps and Nutters. Still dull here, but warmer, and the wind has got up now.

BB and Jules, you're both wrong; It's St. Swithin's day you Nutters!

As for the little boxes at the end of posts, I haven't seen any on here, but I do get them on Twitter. I researched and discovered it's 'character incompatibility' as in, my computer doesn't recognise the character or symbol. So ner!

            • Had a call from Hubby. He's been to collect a parcel for me - I wondered where the notification card had gone, and he's been, erm, 'waylaid' was the term he used. Was noisy in the background, so I asked where he was. "I found a Beer Festival" was the guilty reply.

Typical! I love Beer, especially 'proper' stuff from little artisan brewers, but I'm off the carbs, which means he'll probably bring some of the best ones home for me to try. I'll just have a sip!

                • I know how you feel - I went to the GR this afternoon and nobody would buy me a pint - couldn't understand it until Trip told me it's because I was dribbling a lot when drinking my beer - what do you think?

                          • Husband didn't stay out too long. Can't afford to leave his motor unattended in a town for long. Even a little town like this one - it is populated by some right lowlifes at times. Amazingly, he came home empty-handed. But smiling as it's open for two more days! Guess where I'll be tomorrow evening.

Our dull day, that became a warm dull blustery afternoon, is now a beautiful sunny evening.
