  • Afternoon, we've had rain, hail stone today with some bright sunshine today so I was glad to be out and about in my van at work.

The garden looks good after all the rain we've had well apart from my 5 outdoor toms I'm a bit concerned about them but the kitchen window and GH are full, so they have to take their chances.

    • Afternoon gang!
I've had a wonderful lottie day today We reclaimed 2.5 beds from weeds and grass, made a slight modification to our new pallet composter, planted out 20 broad bean plants, 30 shallot plants, sowed 2 rows of carrots and potted on some leek plantlets. The weather threatened us with something nasty every half hour, but it held off and we moved mountains

        • Well the garden water butts are a little fuller, but the weather put a stopper on the pottering I was gonna do.

          • What a sh!te day! Haven't achieved half what I wanted to get done, due to v-e-r-y s-l-o-w internet connection speeds which caused all sorts of problems. Then the washing machine. Went and got a replacement, and the heavens opened. So the lawns are even longer, the laundry's not done, and we're supposed to be going to a party tonight. I really don't feel like it.

Also, I'm off the carbs, and all I want to do is eat CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!
