  • G4 haven't read back yet, but I've me eyes and fingers crossed for you - the rest are all crossed for other people as far as I can remember. Don't worry about Mr G4, he'll get the idea when the new dawg bales him up as an intruder

Off to read the rest now. Freezing again tonight already in the minus' and it's not even 7pm. -7C tonight altho it feels like it might be worse. The snow people will be wearing their smiles, but I could do with a little winter sunshine.

Off to get hay AGAIN, tomorrow. It's just evaporating around here! The horses are all still looking good even tho they'd like a lot more to chew on. I need to get orf my arris and make those baked apples.

      • Well that's cute BB! Altho white is not a good colour with mud. And the front end is a little low for our driveway.

        • Fez,currently I have the UK version of this .. http://www.eurodb.com.au/glass_images/3QQ02A.jpg .. modified to have a bit more clearance ,but Mrs BB does not like climbing in it & it is not the most economical thing on the planet, that sweet little thing has a combined cycle of 62 mpg & the silly scooter will do 55 mpg

            • We're baaaaaaaaaaack!

She's little, pale and fat - looks more like a sheep than a Golden Retriever. She is also very depressed, but has given me a couple of spontaneous cuddles, and licked my hand. Numb-n*ts won't leave her alone, and she has told him off a couple of times, so I tried to make them lay down quietly together, in the hope that they both start to chill out a little, after all the excitement.

                    • Her name is Roxy. Oscar's Mum was called Roxy! I sent that picture to Mr.G's mobile, and got back "Oh." He'll be over his sulk by the time he gets home.

                      (I hope!)

                              • Its odd having 3 dogs now - I need an extra hand to stroke them all at once. You can only put down 2 bowls at once. so one has to wait to be fed. Its difficult to keep track of them too - I keep mislaying one
Yesterday I tried walking them all at once, but Rosie had to be carried, Mary was being stubborn and the new girl, Lily, doesn't have much lead training so was getting wrapped around my legs and tangled up with Mary. Not a good idea - I'll not try that again
I'm sure Roxy, Oscar and Mr G4 will soon get used to each other
