    • All right, all?

Is it really garlic harvesting day, or have I missed something?

I'm in happy mood, as there are flowering chillies ands bells in my classroom. Have decided to knock the matrimonials list on it's head. The number of phones that my aunt and I were making by of enquiries, does not correspond with the number of calls received. Not worth the stupid amount for subscription, or the lame-a** cultural small minded politics.

Apparently cardiff remained dry for the crickety thing and a good day was had. Won't say how I know that, except when the situation is more transparent. I'm talking in riddles, yes.

      • Oh I've come back in to say how sorry I am to hear about Jules hubby. What a shock for you all! Hope he's feeling better soon, and hope that you all get some rest soon. We really NEED a huggey smiley, please!

Sorry to hear about the cat, heartbreaking but least you know it wasn't alone at the end, something we always seem to worry about. Sending all the good winter solstice vibes your way.

Orf to bed now I am, packed and all. Someone just remind me to toss those printer cartridges into the other car as I leave in the morning will you? I'm prone to forgetting things like that till I'm half way to work and then it's too late.

        • Put them in now Feral lest we forget Hope it's good news today Jules. Glad the dogs are settling down nicely.
Bins, you have been treated most unfairly and your manager needs to be told about it, either by you or your union. I would never be allowed to get away with what they have subjected you to. In the first instance, your manager should have asked if you would be comfortable to have someone observing and you could have declined. Appraisal is not an opportunity to air their grievances with you, that should be done at the time of the complaint or in a separate meeting. As for going out socially on work outings - I used to but hated it and then decided I was not like the main manager who has to go on these things. I refused a few times and then told them not to ask me again as a refusal often offends If you like your job, don't be pushed out and if you really don't like it then start looking for something else, but don't let these bullies ('cause that's what they are) influence you. • Afternoon All. Just back from visiting a friend in Abergavenny. Just eaten an Eccles cake the size of Wales to celebrate my return.
The roadside verges are awash with wild flowers, buttercups, oxeye daisies, campion and cow parsley and one roundabout was covered in orchids (all this alongside a dual carriageway). Really cheers up the drive!
So HH, whats going on in Cardiff that I should know about Sun's shining today too - on whoever it is

              • Eeeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps! Warm and muggy here again today, so the half of the Lawn that I cut earlier in the week, now looks like it hasn't been touched!

Met up with my Mum and took the Dogs for a walk with her Girlie. All got on fine, so went back for a cuppa. Oscar has been on overdrive all day, and Roxy's obviously unfit, as she sat down for a rest halfway round the walk! They'll both probably sleep well tonight.

                Coffee?

Flo, I have one line manager but there was also her second in command plus her manager who were there allegedly just to observe. Makes a total farce of the 'this is your chance to speak up about all issues in total confidence ' thing. The form they used was different to the one I'd been given to read through . I was made to feel that I shouldn't have a life outside of work even tho' I do 10 hrs I should live and breathe the place. Then I get hit with 'others don't like working with you they say you are not customer friendly (this was all from the observer) They complain that I get too many Saturdays off and I don't go on team meals (btw the next one is when I go on hols again).....Safe to say I felt totally intimidated and tbh totally flummoxed , couldn't even think of the right words to say to defend myself.
Have sent an e-mail to ask union rep to phone me cos if I ring in they'll know its me....
OH says don't think about it but it's hard not too ....even managed to burn a pan last night just stewing some apples ......

                              • ...if you could go out for a meal with colleagues during workhours with the bill picked up by the company, that's fair enough, but give up one's free time and hard-earned cash to "socialise" with a bunch of ******* - tell them to Forget it. If its not part of your Job description, you don't have to do it.
