  • I know you all think I'm a Nutter but today I convinced myself
Its very windy here and the tree branches are being whipped around. Looking at the oak, I saw a "face" staring at me from about 60' up. The more I stared the clearer it became!
Through binoculars, its a combination of lichen and cracks in the bark but it looks just like a "Green man". Somehow, it seems right that a tree should have a face
Wish I could take a photo of it to show you all
PS The men in white coats are on their way...............

    • Grey and drizzly here this morning. Greenhouse day today I think, bit too damp for the lottie.

Well, our plans move on apace. Date for marriage booked and paid for, hog roast for the garden 'party' booked and deposit paid. No going back now!!

              • Aaaaaaaaaaaarternoooooooon Peeps! I dragged my aching limbs and stiff back to the stables this morning, and nattered. Bunged the Nag out, and nattered. Had a coffee and nattered. Mucked out and made feeds. Then had another coffee and nattered.

Came back home via a long dog walk, and am now recuperating and feeding my face. That's two weeks in a row I've overdone these particular Pilates stretches, and my lower back doesn't like it.

Dogs are asleep. Ruddy Houdini Hens are still escaping, so I'm wing-clipping as I catch them to put them back, hopefully that'll sort 'em!

                Coffee?

                    Even better!
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

                        • Just a quick pop in to update you - the BH is much more himself today. Quite smiley and bright. Still covered in bruises and in a fair amount of pain. Scans revealed the intracranial is a lot less than it was and brain function is normal. His spine is bruised but, it's thought, no worse than it was. He does have two fractured ribs and a fractured right humerus. They won't strap his ribs because it could put extra pressure on his spine.

Off to bed now, I'm shattered.

No outdoors for me today. School work all weekend.
