  • Evening

Kitty it must have been the nice weather that bought folks out, us we've been lazy and spent the afternoon sat in the garden watching the baby sparrows coming in and out of their nest.

    • Afternoon All......Lovely weather all day. The car says 18c but I'm sure it was hotter than that. Just about to light the bbq - chicken & salami kebabs. With garden salad.

The scans were all good, we can collect him tomorrow afternoon, once he's seen the cranial man!!!! It's to be complete rest though, or they won't let him go on holiday. If we had been flying he wouldn't have been allowed to go at all because of the pressure. I'm still not allowed to fly for another two months because I fractured my bonce last year and they recommend no flying for a year or so.

No visiting this evening as we'll probably be there most of the day tomorrow,

      Vin rosy, anyone?

          • That's good news Jules. Hope both of you get chance to relax, it sounds like you deserve it.

VC, mine are not even pencil thickness yet! Not jealous...

            ...Much.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.

            • I just ate the first bulbil of the season from my walking onions. Nearly blew my head off! Not even the size of my thumb nail but my eyes watered and nose ran. Hooooeeee it was good.

              • Is that carrot in the foreground, or is it bigger than your doggies?

Was the knot to remind you to do something?

Just been searching the house for the fruit I bought Monday. It's gone. My mother phones 'Darling, Dad has packed up two lots of fruit - we have yours too' This is what happens when you both buy the same special offers in Sainsbunnys.......I have no idea quite how they're going to eat all of that fruit. Best of British, Ma.

                • That's good news Jules and fingers crossed the cranial man adds his say so to your BH going home.

I'm a bit jealous of your carrot VC mine only have an inch tall leaves so I've some time to wait.

                            • Mine love raw cabbage and eat sprouts like sweets. In fact they like most fruit and veg as long as it has crunch. Lettuce is not popular!

                              • We used to have a cat, Shelley, who would willingly rip your arm off if you were holding melon, cucumber or the cobs from sweetcorn - not the corn itself, just the cob.

Right now, the brand new cat nip plant - which was about 12 inches high last week - is at pot level. Bloomin' stoners.....
