Do people think your mad for having so many too?

    • Oh, yeah. I tell them I'm practising to be one of those ol' biddies with hundreds of cats.......getting there with the biddy bit, just need some more cats! I can guarantee there will be four cats on our bed right now - one at each corner of the duvet just in case it escapes.

The BH is having his soup, so the bed is pre-warmed and empty......purrfect!

      • There are only two on my bed at the moment, two will be in the spare bedroom, one on the sofa and the other three well they could be anywhere.

          • After good noon folks.

Been a nice day I will get down the allotment tomorrow as it may be dry enough to do some work on I've not been there since Tuesday & I expect the weeds will have taken advantage of my absence.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Good luck! I've spent more than 2 hours weeding this afternoon and you can scarcely tell I've been there! More of the same tomorrow. On the plus side I did pick some radishes and the peas are podding nicely, just need them to fill a bit. Second early spuds in flower and there is one broad bean pod that is the right size to eat! Just one though.

Off for a well-earned pint I think, before supper. OH has made a chilli. Yummy.

I "tried" to trim bushes and weed borders but I wasn't much interested today.
Off to Merthyr tomorrow morning - OH is racing in a 25m cycle race.... Gotta cheer him on!

                      • She's beautiful, Lottie. I remember when the DD was that tiny - just over 5lbs she was.

Went up to the workroom after supper - the BH is sleeping again - and although I knew I was really too tired to sew, I decided to put the Paris Map skirt together. I've got to unpick it tomorrow - got two pieces in the wrong order and a godet in a side seam That'll teach me....

I probably shouldn't have gone sewing after a glass of wine either, even if I did have it with food.

                            • Evening all.
Busy day today with presentation day for all the young kids who play soccer with our club
A lot of work to get it all set up but in the end, the day went really well..
The kids loved it and parents seemed happy enough
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                              ...utterly nutterly
