Some days, the energy required to focus seems greater than the energy required to complete the task....Never test the depth of the water with both feet
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

Eeeeevenin! Just back from the cinema where we watched Twelfth Night live from the Globe theatre. What a brilliant performance by all the actors, they had me laughing out very loud . Just what I needed. When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Well, I've had a busy day. Finally managed to get most of the lawn cut with the help (?) of daughter, two grandchildren and the dog.
After the littl'uns had gone home I went to the allotment for an hour's peace and quiet.
Got home, had tea, and got the springcleaning bug (??????????)
Dog has been looking at me gone out, trying to kill the hoover and the mop, and finally given up and gone to bed.
Bonus = staying up later than usual cleaning has resulted in catching a ginormous slug in the hallway. (I live in a very old cottage and often find slug trails on the floors but very rarely catch the culprits).

Another cold and sunny day to start with. Had the fire on last night so wasn't quite as bitter as yesterday morning!
Chooks and horses done as usual, and dogs let off and coats removed. I forgot last night when I was hanging out the red dogs wet bedding, and put the eggs down on the trampoline. 4 Eggs. All frozen this morning and two cracked when the sun hit them I guess Seems a waste!
More water to be pumped today and a mahoosive clean up in my office and room. Has to be done!Ali

G'Moooooooornin' Peeps. Warm and cloudy here today - I can cope with that, as it means the Dogs can come with me, which makes life easier, and halves my mileage. Achey achey achey today after yesterday's exertions. Today will be a slow-mo day, so maybe not that productive.
