The rain will have stopped by tonight Scarlet (maybe!) I'm sure your boy will enjoy it, whatever the weather

      • Morning All. Cloudy, dull and breezy here - but the forecast is pretty good for later in the day. Last two appraisals to be done at work today and then I'm off Friday and Monday, yay Have a good day and see you all later.

Happy to see you back BM and hope you're bronzed and refreshed!

            • G'Moooooooooooornin' Peeps! Dull and cloudy here, but HOT has been forecast.

Thanks for the 'support' Hazel! Sadly, I ordered enough for two days, so I'll need a real verbal 'rollicking' again, when you have time.

              Coffee?

                  • Today did not go well planned. Had asked No: 1 son out for the day as he's working on my birthday. He had to do a couple of things to the yard of the house he's just moved out of first, so organised for around lunchtime.
Daughter had to be at the job at 2pm and thought she could sleep in then catch up with friends for an hour and walk with them to the job (it's waaaay up the other end of town). But a shocking cold wind blew all those plans away. Son was coming out as we were driving in. I got home 2 hours later

And he hadn't had time to whippersnip so he had to go back in by dark (5pm atm) I was a bit fed up!
But we had a sort of late lunch, then I dragged them out to the front paddock to plant my 10 pine trees I bought today! YES! They are in, and heaven help that d@mn wombat if he rips them out and chucks them on the ground like he used to do to the last 40 I've planted.

I'm going to see Bon Jovi, Bren.

Is anyone else having problems accessing the site this morning. All was well, but now I can't get on via my usual browser, which is Google Chrome. I've had to sneak in via the dreaded IE.

                      • Oh Wow Indigo - lucky you. I saw Bon Jovi in Sheffield several years ago.

No problems with the Vine here at the moment, I'm using Chrome.

                          • Well it seems to have resolved itself following a cache clear and a reboot of the browser.

RL, this will be my 4th time of seeing Bon Jovi live, and the 2nd time in Hyde Park. The other 2 occasions were at the Milton Keynes Bowl. I'm getting so excited!

                              • I'll cheer extra loud for you, Feral. I haven't been able to go the last few times they've been over due to lack of funds, so I'm really looking forward to this. Plus it will be a lovely day out with my best friend, which tends to not happen often enough because life gets in the way.
