Lovely morning here with a high blue sky. I've had a good nights sleep but really could have stayed in bed. We have a Spanish exchange student here for a few weeks and I'm loving it! (but I'm shattered!) we are doing the whole holiday thing at home, sightseeing, cycle rides, picnics, pubs and boating on the weekend. I'm hoping this weather stays, it makes all the difference.Comment

Another scorcher here today.......Nice to see weather warnings on your phone about "extreme high temperatures".............
Have to be more vigilant about my seedlings tho.............Lost a tray of germinated pak choi due to the heat.....Not to worry tho, plenty of time to re-sow....I am not annoyed with Mr Sun at all

Just come down west - its 31C indoors
Found one neighbour strimming my paths, another bringing a beer to her husband who uses my garden as a shortcut to get to his (don't ask but he has my full agreement!). So 4 of us have been sitting in the sun supping beer and coffee and catching up on the gossip. Found some ripe strawberries but we've eaten those
It is soooooooo hot - but I'm not complaining. The next few days should be fun
